At some point I began not to look at organisations and companies as cold machines anymore, but rather as an organism with people living and working in it. Generally, organisations are structured like pyramids. At the top there is the director, feeling like the ruler while at the same time being bombarded by shareholders and banks. Today, that does not work anymore. The only way to achieve long-term success in this modern world is: a company or a project will have to be supported from inside, by people's inspiration. The energy to attain a target has to be located right at the centre and has to pulsate into the different areas. That way, the whole will swing at an identical frequency. At the same time it is all about personal interaction. Work is about people.
