Giving seriousness a profile again

Our action has a lot to do with modern education. It is not easy in this modern world to establish a stable self, because our society is based on a blend of value relativism and a propaganda to buy things. It is difficult to practice generosity in such a society. Greed, which used to be an exception with our ancestors, has turned into today's objective. Collecting as many material goods as possible does not make us happy in the long-run, hence the increasing demand for anti-depressants. Even if we consider ourselves rich, we have lost a lot: a lot of our identity, a lot of human contact and a lot of the values that meant so much to our ancestors.
