Nomi Baumgartl and the Photography

Nomi Baumgartl, internationally renowned photographer, lives in Munich and whenever possible in Maui, Hawaii, to work on her future projects. It is her life's work to depict the connection between humans, nature, oceans and earth in her pictures which pay tribute to the Creation. As an ambassador for DOLPHIN AID e. V. (Dolphins helping children) she uses her photographic art to support disabled children so that they can be treated with a dolphin therapy. When working for the NDR as a visual director of the Daniel Opitz film "Der Elefantenmann" (The Elephant Man), she met Timbo on whom she modelled Mumo and who inspired her to write an exceptional story set between dreams and reality. The book was published in the Piper-Verlag in 2005.
